Game: Infinite Crisis, a DC superhero MOBA

Studio: Turbine a Warner Brother's Company

Responsibilities:

  • Designed & Implemented 8 different characters.

  • Collaboration with artist to help establish the characters visuals.

  • Designing champion skills and how they play into and enhance established gameplay.

  • Implementing champions into game via Havok Behavior and other tools.

  • Collaboration with various artist and engineers to capture skill feedback.

  • Complete ownership of characters from concept to completion: Iteration, Balance, Redesign, bug fixing.

  • Collaboration with playability feedback testers.

  • Voice & Dialog

  • Design & Implement various NPCs.

  • Establish structure and maintain standards for balance, character role and itemization.

  • Live Balance and Community Feedback.

  • Iteration, Redesign and balancing for existing characters.

Helped design, structure and maintain standards for balance, character role and itemization for Infinite Crisis's September Update and beyond. This included...

  • Reworking Champion stats and skill damage from the ground up. (Personal Focus: Marksmen, Enforcers)

  • Restructuring Roles and their damage types

  • Research and establish guidelines for balance going forward.

  • Help improve skill feedback and responsiveness.

  • Collaboration work with Play testers and fellow designers to help create and maintain an itemization system that supported champions and game direction.

  • Enhance & Implement existing NPCs for better immersion and game feedback.
